DAR volunteers learn to help effectively in any situation — from crises to everyday life

Every day there are people around us who need attention, support and care. But without preparation, good intentions can create problems. Our goal is to ensure that help is always useful and safe.
  • — Disorganised assistance can hinder the work of emergency responders
     — lack of preparation and coordination creates risks for everyone.
  • — Many people want to help but don’t know exactly how
    — without knowledge and skills, people often feel lost when faced with real problems.
  • — Trained volunteers strengthen the work of professionals
    — they know how to provide first aid, collaborate with emergency services and work as a team.
  • — Volunteers are needed not only in emergencies but in everyday life too
    — supporting mothers, helping teenagers, organising events, running ecological campaigns.
  • — Volunteering changes not only society but the volunteer themselves
    — new skills, friends, experience and personal growth.
  • — Training is an investment in a culture of mutual aid
    — prepared volunteers become role models and build trust in the movement.
